The Seminar on Training, Technology, and Applications in the Semiconductor Industry

The seminar on “Training, Technology, and Applications in the Semicnductor Industry” will be held on the morning of November 27, 2025, at the Export Showroom, 92 Nguyen Hue Street, Saigon Ward, HCMC. This seminar is a specialized activity within the series of events accompanying GRECO 2025 Exhibition of HCMC – one of the highlight events under the framework of the HCMC Economic Forum (HEF) Week.

The seminar is jointly organized by the HCMC Semiconductor Industry Association (HSIA), the Management Board of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP), the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre of HCMC (ITPC), and the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center (SHTP-IC).

The seminar is expected to welcome 50-70 participants, including representatives from HCMC’s departments and agencies such as the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Science and Technology, the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP), the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), and the Union of Science and Technology Associations, along with enterprises, universities, and members of HSIA.

Notably, the event will feature speakers from leading technology organizations and enterprises both in Vietnam and abroad, offerering diverse and practical perspectives on the development trends of the semiconductor industry.

The seminar will consist of two main sessions.

The First Session:

Focuses on highlighting recent developments and key initiatives of HSIA and the ARTSeMi Alliance in semiconductor workforce training.

Dr. Phạm Tuấn Anh, CEO of VNTT (Becamex Group) and Vice President of ARTSeMi, will present a report on “Smart City Solutions.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Trần Vũ, Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Standing Member of HSIA, and Vice President of ARTSeMi, will introduce “Training Programs in Microchip and Semiconductor Technologies.”
Dr. Trịnh Xuân Thắng, Director of the Research and Deployment Center (SHTP Labs) and Vice President of ARTSeMi, will share insights on “Facilities and Training Programs in Microchip and Semiconductor Technologies.”

The Second Session:

Focuses on technological collaboration and knowledge sharing among international enterprises.

Mr. Yoo Sejin, Director of APP Vietnam, will introduce “Plasma Surface Treatment Technology and Its Applications in the Semiconductor Industry.”
Ms. Tateshiro Asuka, Regional Manager of Nippon Avionics Co., Ltd. (Japan), will present “Parallel Seam Sealing Technology in Electronic and Semiconductor Component Packaging.”

As one of Ho Chi Minh City’s key professional events within the GRECO 2025 Exhibition, the seminar serves not only as an academic exchange platform but also as a bridge connecting the scientific community and the business sector.
